Creating a Just Community
Community NotesEven without the upheaval of events like those in Ferguson, Missouri, librarians can use our libraries to create just communities. This session's takeaways are two-fold: 1. Ideas, ideas, and more ideas for all types of libraries invested in social justice, and 2. Actual plans to implement some of those ideas.
This session will use
padlet.com as a platform for recording ideas. You do not need any electronic devices during the session, though they are welcome. If you plan to bring a laptop or tablet and want to explore the platform in advance,
